How to Make Your Daughter Cry

On the way home from church this morning, James made an inappropriate, and slightly off-color remark and I hit him in the arm (which he was totally expecting).  There was an immediate reaction from the kids.  Gibson said, "Hey, you hit Daddy!"  and Tabitha started crying, "Mommy hit Daddy!  You HIT Daddy!!"  She was really upset and I had to apologize for hitting Daddy.  He forgave me and Tabi stopped crying.  But he was laughing so hard he could hardly speak.  I need to learn to discreetly pinch him instead.
