Last Friday, I took Gibson and Tabitha to the pumpkin patch with one of our mom's groups. We had driven by the farm on Wednesday and Gibson saw that they had set out the hay bale maze and shouted, "Look, Mommy! The Pumkin Patch is ready for us!" He had been looking forward to the going to the pumpkin patch for a very long time.
Friday morning, Gibson woke up and said, "Today we are going to go to the Pumpkin Patch! Mommy, can I pick out a really... small... Christmas tree?" He remembered that when we went last year, the pumpkins were right next to the Christmas trees.
Tabitha had a lot of fun sitting on a hay bale while Gibson ran around the maze.

This is Gibson's favorite tractor to ride behind. It is just like the one Grandpa Dick gave to him (which, upon getting home, we had to dig out of the closet so he could play with).

So many pumpkins to choose from!

And yet they all wanted the same one.
He finally picked one out and wanted me to take a picture of it. Of course, this is not the pumpkin we ended up going home with.

While Gibson was busy running around, Tabitha insisted very forcefully that she be set down next to a pumpkin. Even though her pants and socks were wet and muddy, she got her wish and was very happy about it.
