Gibson and I took my mom to Mount Angel, about 30 minutes Southeast of Portland. It is a quaint German town that was built around the founding of an Abbey. It was a very nice day, weather wise.
We toured the Abbey and then went into town for lunch. Of course, we had to watch the glockenspiel at 11:00, and then we sat down to a good German lunch.
