While the kids had their quiet-time, James and I set up the Christmas tree and put on the lights. I vacuumed up the needles and went to go get the kids.
Gibson followed me down the stairs and came around the corner asking, "Why did you have the . . . Ooooooh!!" His question about the vacuum was interrupted by seeing the lit tree. Then he started jumping up and down, clapping his hands, saying, "Oh, I like Christmas! It is so pretty!!"
Tabitha just sat on James lap and pointed at the tree saying 'ball' over and over again. When she was set on the floor, she made a beeline for the tree, but didn't touch it.
I think I'll have my hands full keeping kiddy hands off of the tree this year.
