This is what we see every Tuesday. We actually look forward to the trash truck coming up the street. We run to the window and look out at the big green and yellow vehicle that takes away the stuff that we have thrown away. Thank you Sanitary Engineers!

We loved our garbage man in Ashland. He'd look up to our apartment deck and wave to the boys each week. Now we don't have such a friendly man, but we get cooler garbage trucks. :)
At age 58 I still pause to watch the garbage man do his thing. I still remember when they carried large aluminum cans hooked over their shoulder & they would walk into our backyard, pour our trash into their can and then carry it out to the garbage truck... Grampa Mike
