James was driving home from Home Group tonight, and I saw a deer grazing about 100 feet from a few cows. I quietly said to James, "At first I thought that was a cow, but then I realized it was a deer."
A few seconds later Gibson said, "Mmmmuh." We didn't even think he would have been paying attention since he was half asleep.
So the rest of the way home, we would say, "Cow," and then Gibson would say, "Mmmuh," and then we would laugh.
Moral of the story: Children are always listening to what you say, even when you don't think they are.
