It snowed for quite a few hours yesterday, but didn't stick. So, when we woke up to a covering of white, the kids were very excited. They had to wait for the sun to come up and for Daddy to wake up (because pregnant Mommy wasn't going to take them out on her own!). We finally got dressed and outside and the snow was still falling, but it was extremely wet, more slush than anything. But with about an inch on the ground, being wet wasn't going to deter us!
There wasn't quite enough to actually slide down the hill, but James tried anyway.
Gibson got a huge kick out of being pulled along in the saucer. Tabitha refused to sit in it.
Tabitha was not at all sure about being out in the wet, cold stuff at first.
But after a little bit she really started enjoying it, especially once she discovered she could throw it at Daddy...
...And Daddy would have a funny reaction when he got hit.
January snowflakes are just right for eating.
While there wasn't quite enough snow on the ground to make a snowman, there was enough on the cars.
Daddy moved the snowman in front of the house and added some arms. Tabi was so excited to have a snowman!
