When Gibson takes his shoes off, he puts the first shoe in the basket by the door, and then goes back to where he took the first shoe off to take the second shoe off - even if it is on the other side of the house.
Quirky words:
Doo-ning: doing, as in what are you doo-ning?
TVV: tv (also DVV and CDD)
baa-naa-naa: banana, but it's really cute the way he says it, with the emphasis on the first syllable.
goosedriver: screwdriver
bommin: bottom
tomato: potato, though it has now morphed into toe-tato
Every night at bedtime, we pray with Gibson and ask him what he wants to thank Jesus for. Here are some of the things he has wanted us to pray to Jesus and thank Him for:
- the blue wall and the white wall (the walls in his room, I'm guessing)
- Mommy and Daddy and Tabi and Sassy and Krampa-Krampa (Grandma and Grandpa)
- Mommy's glasses
- the hairs on Mommy's arm
First thing every morning Gibson asks me, "Where are we going to go to today, Mommy?" He likes to get out of the house. He also asks me this when he wakes up from his nap.
For some reason, he has decided that Tabitha's nickname is Connie Wrash. He says it with a W on the front. He doesn't call her that every day, but it often comes up.
