ZOO!!

It was a nice day on Monday, and we decided to go to the Oregon Zoo. Gibson's two favorite exibits are the polar bears and the penguins (I would say the same about his dad, too!). Gibby was fascinated by the polar bear batting around a 50 gallon drum in the water. Just look at the concentration in those eyes!

We also got to pet the goats for the first time. They weren't soft like Sassy, our cat, but Gibson seemed to enjoy them. Actually, I think he was more interested in the rock the goat was standing on than the goat itself. This particular goat got frisky and started to eat my jacket. This shot is right before the hungry episode. Can't you see the goat eyeing which part of my jacket to eat?
We had a good time at the zoo. We have a pass, so this is the 4th time Gibson & I have gone, the first time for James. It is a very nice zoo for kids - just the right size to see everything in 5 to 6 hours and not get over-tired or overwhelmed. And there is a LOT for kids to do. However, if you don't have kids with you, the zoo can be a little boring. But Gibson has a good time every time we go!
