Tabi had been talking about her Princess Birthday Party since we started planning Gibson's birthday party in January! She was thrilled that it was finally her turn to have the party, princess cake and all! My parents spent Friday night and then the rest of the family joined us on Saturday.
Grandma Bev and Zeke enjoyed some early morning time together.
He's such a happy little guy!
Gibson and Cousin Mason shared the box quite happily...for a time.
The must-have accessory of every princess party: crowns!
Time to open presents! Tabi just opened a wand, just what every fairy princess needs!
The complete package - a princess with a crown, tutu, wand, boa, and Tinkerbell.
She LOVES her cake!

The beautiful princess cake that James worked so hard on.

Gibson is telling Tabi how to blow the candles out.

Finally getting to blow out the candles!
Tabi finally got to play with her Cinderella doll that was "in" the cake. (We actually had two dolls, the one in the cake had no legs!)
Feathers and tulle.
Having a serious conversation with Uncle Chris.
Zeke had enough excitement and finally fell asleep with Grandma Jan.

Chicken fight!
Tabi was thrilled to be so tall she could reach the streamers.
She had a great birthday! Because she is now a big girl, she packed up all of her pacifiers and gave them to her 3 month old cousin, Amanda. The first night without the paci, Tabi had a hard time and insisted she was still a baby; James ended up sleeping with her for a while. The second night was a little easier, and by the end of the week, she was sleeping just fine without the paci.
The tiny baby who came into the world eight weeks early has grown into a vivacious young girl.
